Bring Your Home Vision to Life
While each project is unique, most of our custom homes take 8-12 months from groundbreaking to completion. The total timeline, including the design phase and permitting, typically spans 10-14 months. We pride ourselves on providing detailed timelines during our initial consultation and keeping you updated throughout the process. Factors that can affect the timeline include home size, complexity of design, weather conditions, and material availability.
Our key difference lies in our hands-on leadership approach. Our owner Bryant and Lead Designer Kristin personally oversee every project, ensuring direct communication and quick decision-making. Unlike larger builders, we intentionally limit our projects each year to maintain this high level of personal attention. Additionally, our integrated design-build process means you work with one singular team from concept to completion, eliminating the common headaches of coordinating between separate design and construction teams.
We believe in making the building process collaborative and enjoyable. After all, this is your dream home, you should be able to enjoy the process! You'll have scheduled walk-throughs at key construction milestones, weekly progress updates, and regular meetings with our design team for selections. Our clients particularly appreciate our online project management system, which allows you to view progress photos, make selections, and communicate with our team at your convenience. However, we're also flexible – some clients prefer more involvement, while others like to be hands-off. We'll adapt to your preferred level of engagement.
Not at all! We actually recommend connecting with us before purchasing land. Our team can help evaluate potential lots for building feasibility, access challenges, and cost implications. We can also connect you with trusted realtors who specialize in land acquisition. Our early involvement can help you avoid potential issues and choose a property that best suits your dream home plans.
While no formal preparation is required, it can be helpful to:
Collect inspiration photos or ideas you love
Have a general idea of your desired square footage
Know your approximate budget range
List your must-have features
Think about your preferred timeline Don't worry if you don't have everything figured out – our first meeting is about exploring possibilities together.
